Default Spare tire wrench with aftermarket nuts/wheels

So I just thought about it and realized that the spare tire lug wrench is a 21mm.

How is everyone solving the issue of a 21mm wrench on a 19mm or smaller after market lug nut?

I mean I could carry a 19mm socket with my breaker bar and torque wrench, but that seems more of a hassle, extra weight, and not to mention it could by flying all over the place in the trunk area.

Would be nice to be able to put the spare tire on in an event I ever needed to - this situation would leave me stranded until I called roadside assistance.

Which lug nuts did you buy? My project kics came with an adapter socket thats like 2 inches in length so I can use the trunk wrench.

My RAYS 17 hex nuts set came with the extended adapter than can be used with 19/21 hex socket, so no problems with the factory wrench.

Ohhh, wow I feel dumb that I didn't think about the socket adapter that comes with aftermarket tuner type lugs.

I bought black acorn type nuts, as I remember seeing the adapter you guys mention stripping and or flaring out near the opening when impacts are used on them repeatedly.

I'm sure they'd be fine with just breaker bars and torque wrench tools being used on them, but I can't seem to imagine any shop using hand tools to take off and put on my wheels lol.

Maybe the sockets I saw customers bring in (when I worked in a dealership in the past) were just cheap brands. Guess I could try tuner/spline type nuts.
