IS350 AWD Engine Mods - To go faster
Hey everyone,
I just signed papers for a brand new 2015 IS350 AWD F-Sport. I've look looking through the forum for a couple weeks now just seeing what people have been able to do.
Could those of you who have done engine mods please chime in? looking to make the IS350 much fast and im sure the engine has a lot of potential. Such as ECU tunes, exhaust systems, headers, intake, etc... any possibility to get the 350 up to 500+ HP and 450+ TQ?
Thank you!

for real! I hate the word trolling, but if someone has been "looking through the forums for a couple of weeks" and is still asking questions like that...it makes me wonder what exactly they've been looking at
there is a performance sub forum you should really look through. even in a day, you'll find most answers you may be looking for.

Yes you can get up there.
Turbo, open-air intakes, bigger cams, pistons, tune (i.e. VR), 3"+ full exhaust (all cats removed), nitrous oxide tank installation, more aggressive differential, better tires, and weight decrease by deleting the interior and replace with bucket seats and don't forget to add reinforcements.
Not all upgrades are power only, miscellaneous stuff should make it quicker.

They are right though, it is an annoying question considering the amount of information there is on this forum about this topic. Since you ask, here you go, have at it:

Oh, and don't forget the Stillen's sticker across the windshield, it's good for an extra 5hp gain.

If you are looking to get to 500hp and 450tq, you bought the wrong car buddy...
No such thing in the new age toyota realm... the option to turbo has been explored but not officially proven to be reliable yet. There are superchargers that claim to add up to 100 hp on top but really has only added around 40+hp due to toyota ECU restrictions

The reason why i ask if because im coming from a 2010 BMW M5. I love BMW's but they are not as reliable as I like. I love the power when I want it. The IS 350 is a better all around car that I could drive year round in NYC.

well...you didn't pick a car in the same class as the M5. going into your purchase and looking through these boards, you should have had an idea about the lack of after market parts for this vehicle. indeed the lexus is a more reliable car, but not very many japanese cars will hold the drawls of german cars when it comes to power off the lot. modding is fun, but very limited for our vehicles.
