Arrow Buy 2015 IS 350 or wait for 2016?

Hey folks newbie to the forum, been researching IS 350 for few months and have decided that I will pull the trigger on one this year.

My only question is should I get 2015 as the offers on them are getting great (financing %, leasing %, cash back etc...)

Or should I just wait to see what 2016 has in store? Is there any info of whats actually going to change for '16?

loving the blue (which I don' see on the road a lot here) and my first choice was Ultra White

thanks.

Current deals are too awesome to pass... My guess is if you are in the market for a 350 then you probably shouldn't wait for a 16.. Most of the changes will be to its younger brother with the new heart with the turbo. But then again.. Everything is a speculation on the 350.. Who knows what's going to happen. Some say new turn signal design for the front and changes to the taillights.

I agree. If you can get a killer deal on a 15 get it. There aren't any significant upgrades to the 2016 IS 350 that I'm aware of.

We don't get USB here for some strange reason. I like that blue a lot too.

It's only been two model years and the 350 (engine) is still well and alive across the latest Lexus models. I wouldn't count on any powertrain differences. The interior is still one of the most modern and loved designs in the entire industry so I can't imagine much, if anything, being updated there. There might be an infotainment update, considering the new RX and GS have updated systems, but a rumor on this board suggests that there will be a major software update available for the IS anyway. Basically, get it now!

It depends on the deals as if you can get a killer deal lets say 5-10k off then go ahead.

My wallet is telling me 2015 due to sales but my heart says just wait off few more months to hear 2016 announcement (hoping that 2015 will still be around for a bit to clear out if I decide the changes are not drastic for 2016)

Is it worth going all out and getting F SPORT PKG 3?

Also anybody got any experience with Ultrasonic Mica color (pros or cons)?

We were waiting until we drove the 2nd car into the ground. I wanted to wait until the '16's came out, but it made sense to go with a '15, as I realized the other car was getting close to some major work needing to be done. I would wait for the 16's just because its only a few months away if you don't need a new car right now.

Loving the ultra white on red combo.

here's my thinking. ideally, you'd wait for the '17 model because most likely that'll be the year we see the MMC facelifted IS. '16 will bring over IS200T, but otherwise no changes to the IS lineup. if you can't wait for '17 model year, i'd rather pick up a '15 IS350 during this year's december for remember sale, because i don't think there will be any changes between '15 and '16 IS350.

Tough choice to wait or not. I purchased a 2015 non F sport 350 in the Deep Sea Mica, beautiful color and not very popular. I have the Flaxen interior, overall nice interior/exterior combo. I am very pleased with the car, other than no memory seat, I don't have any other gripes. Good luck!

I don't know if December to Remember sale is the same in Canada? What kind of sale do they have going on during that time?

I would go for a '15 IS 350. The deals right now are great and there won't be any significant changes on the IS 350 for 2016.

I'm in the same boat as well. Currently getting a ton of emails from dealers who are offering the Golden Opportunity deals before August. Is it worth waiting for the December to Remember event? What're the differences between the two events?

I don't quite know exactly how it works in Canada but in CA in the fall when the new models are rolling out, they start giving away the older models. You might strike an absolutely amazing deal if you can wait a month or 2

They usually say the best deals are in September, since all the new models show up around that time
