I just read a yahoo article, 2016 GS 350 is getting a power bump to 311hp. Looks like 2017 IS 350 is going to get a power bump to 311hp. Also they are introducing GS200t for 2016.

Really I completely regret getting my 2015 IS350 now
I think the same way. You will not be able to tell the 1.6% increase. I am very happy with my 2015 IS350
I think (hope) he was being sarcastic.

Agreed. there is NO point to the IS300. no fuel economy gains, nothing, just less power. why?! at least with the is200T you get some kick *** fuel economy.
Funny that the RX350 now makes as much power as the IS350!

I'm not sure why some feel there is no point to the IS300. It's the same point for the IS250 AWD - to offer a lower priced version with AWD. So for someone who wants AWD but doesn't want to pay another $3k or so for the 350, enter the 300. It may have been a somewhat silly way to go about it (350 engine detune), but it seems like they've just added another 50ish horsepower to the base AWD model and people are complaining about it.
My salesperson told me early October they should be getting the IS300's and 200t's.
That sounds about right. That's about the same time they bring out the next prod year each year.
I love the idea of the 200t RWD, but what's the point if you live in Canada with horrible winter road conditions. I would not upgrade my IS250 AWD F sport for the new IS300 AWD.
I would just pony up to the IS350 F sport if I wanted more displacement and to pay for more gas.
