2016 IS 350 RWD (same for f-sport)
Four-piston calipers with 13.1-in ventilated discs (front), 12.2-in ventilated discs (rear)
so same brakes for 200t as the 250 then. umm, that's a total turn off for me. can't stand the look of the puny caliper on the 250 brakes.

not sure if the "puny" brakes actually affect everyday performance to a noticeable degree. Although the bigger brakes do look better and are easier to maintain.

Just checked the NCF book and repair manual. The IS200t, 300 and 350 all now have the 4-piston 13.1" front brakes.
I believe Lexus.com is a mistake.

If that's the case that's awesome! Hopefully the IS300 hp is also a typo or under-rated and it's the same unit as the 350 LOL

It appears the IS300 AWD has the same engine as the IS350 but detuned, so the numbers are correct.

I really don't get it. Same displacement, same MPG. Why are we going for less hp.

Perhaps it is for emissions...
Could it be drivetrain losses.. There has been talk of an 8spd next year too.. Is the IS300 getting the 8spd or sticking with the 6spd...

Technically it replaces the IS250 AWD, so it's a bump in HP.

^^^ are you sure those are not for the '15 IS250? U.S. spec IS200t has even publicly released yet

Lexus USA has updated their website for the IS200t. It no longer lists the IS250.
Still, the website is probably wrong. They've made mistakes like this in the past as well. The IS hasn't had 2-piston front calipers since the IS300 in 2005, but they kept listing it that way for the IS250 for a long time.

The spec chart from Japanese Lexus website says that:
ブレーキ フロント:対向4ポッドキャリパー・φ334mmスパイラルフィン式ベンチレーテッドディスク
(高摩擦ブレーキパッド*2付)
"Brakes front: oncoming 4-pod Caliper・φ334mm spiral fin. bench press disk
(High-friction brake pads * to 2)"
And
リ ヤ:φ310mmベンチレーテッドディスク
"Rear: φ310mm bench press disk"
http://lexus.jp/models/is/specificat...00t/index.html
Looks like a real deal )
