Thumbs down One of the biggest downsides of the IS250/350 Interior

Bad decision to go with this smaller display with such large bezel padding around it, it just looks cheap and out of place in 50k car.

I agree, I don't get the reason for the gaps

While that is true......
Still a nice place to be in!
You can get a gravity case with a iPhone 6 plus or Samsung note and stick it to your screen and play youtube via Bluetooth 😭

You can't see the left corner of the screen from driver's seat with wider view. Bezel is there for a reason but Lexus should have find a way to make the screen bigger nonetheless.

The engine start/stop button will actually block the screen if it's edge to edge.

my biggest gripe so far is the lack of sunglasses holder. and big screen or not, the nav is horrible. I'm ready to gorilla glue my garmin in front of it. LOL

The cupholders and turn signals are the most annoying to me.

Agree to what the other have mentioned -- cupholders and small screen.

For the cupholders -- they should be updated in mid-cycle change as the RC/RC-F share a similar cockpit design but with an updated cupholders.

Small screen -- may get bigger as well but the bezel is there for visibility reason due to the screen is recessed, unlike, for example, the NX.

yep, like people said, cup holders are the worst in the 3IS.
I'm ok with the nav, given the viewing angle. If the 3IS is ever getting the 11" wide screen, then the push start button will have to be moved for the driver to see the whole screen without obstruction.

1st world problems and my 2 cents. I don't mind the size and location of the display. It's plenty big enough to see everything. But I can understand why some people may not like it because its set so deep in the dash.
The cup holders are in an awkward position but they work and better than the 2007 3 series I had. But that's one of the problems with the remote mouse setup. The driver needs a place to put their arm to operate it and it takes up a lot of room in the center console in order to do so.
The lack of a sunglasses holder, or any easily accessible storage, for that matter is an annoyance. But I use this and it works great for holding things like sunglasses, my phone etc. All in all I love the interior of this car. It's comfortable with almost everything within easy reach. It's definitely got a unique look that I really like.

Is that one of those where you slide it into the gap?
