Mirror Whistle (Premium Shield)

Mirror Whistle (Premium Shield)
Hey all!
I recently purchased a beautiful IS350 and I got it tinted & a PremiumShield added on to my front bumper, part of the hood, and mirror backs. I don't think I noticed this noise before, but I find that there is a whistle when I am traveling over 45mph.
I thought it was the window at first, but after driving and rolling down the window, I found that it was the mirror. I can put my hand in front of the back of the mirror and the noise will go away. But I am not sure if this is caused by the film itself or the mirror?
The film is just one piece and doesn't go all the way down to the gaps, so I am not sure as to why the film may cause the problem.
Anyone else have this issue?
Aerodynamic issues?

Try this first?
From the first post in the link:
"I noticed that the whistle would stop when I put my hand on the underside of the mirror housing where it attaches to the stalk. I little experimenting found that a 2" long piece of clear tape, covering the edge of the PPF in that area, eliminated the whistle. It's completely invisible except upon close inspection of the area."

Hmm... I'll have to try that. I'm not exactly sure where that is? I'll take a picture of it in about 30 minutes on my lunch break.
From my understanding that's just running a tape around the edge of the PPF? Underneath though.
