Hey guys, I was wondering why is it when im going to get gas (full tank) while pumping, it will suddenly stop around half tank? And i know its half tank because i can see how much gallons its taken in. Is there a certain way of putting the handle in? So far its happened twice and its really annoying. Any suggestions or reasons why it does that? Also does it on my dads toyota sequioa at times...

I'd say it would be the gas pump.. I've had that happen to me with certain gas pump a stations, but most of the time, it works fine. the usual full 15-17 gallons.

That's probably the gas pump's problem.

I've never had this type of problem at any gas pump with any other cars.

This has occurred to me a few times, and thought I was the only person experiencing this.

It's worth to check out though, since it seems to be a quite an uncommon issue.
