Default how to reset the maintenance meter

Hi,

I did my 20k service at an independent shop. However, the shop forgot to reset my maintenance meter. Has anyone here done it themselves and possibly know the procedure?

I just did it like 30 mins ago after doing my 20k service... I went into settings > Maintenance > Initialize... I dont see the Maintenance Warning anymore and I drove for a good 15 miles.
Hope this helps!

Not sure if the IS has a yellow "!" symbol in the gauge cluster like some other models but just in case it does...
change your odometer to trip A, turn off the car, hold the odometer/trip button while pressing the start button twice without holding the brake pedal and wait for the maintence to change from "-----" to 00000, and release.

It doesn't have the yellow symbol, it just has the reminder at startup. I selected cancel notification and haven't seen the reminder yet. I'm crossing my fingers that it worked finally.

I cancelled the reminder notice. I have not seen it since and hope it stays that way.
