VMR Wheels V710FF: Front 19x8.5 ET35 (Yoko S Drive 235/35/19) | Rear 19x9.5 ET45 (Yoko S Drive 265/30/19)
First and foremost, I gotta thank Tracy at VMR Wheels for reaching out to me and making this happen. Really cool guy. Down to earth and knowledgeable! Answered all my questions regarding wheel specs and led me in the right direction with my setup.
Notorious in the EURO scene, VMR Wheels is making their way into the JDM Market.
I may be the first 3is with this set of wheels. Enjoy.
Love the color and wheel style, buddy of mine had vmrs on his 135i and had awful luck with them.. One cracked and 2 of them just couldn't hold a seal to the fires (not stretched tires either). Hopefully you'll have better luck with them

What a buzz kill. Cracking a wheel is more a factor of how the person drives. As for sealing, that is a shop issue during the mount/dismount.
I have a V710s on my Camaro as well. Running 275/35/20 up front and 295/30/20 in the rear, running Nitto Invos all around. I had them powdercoated gun metal to help with the rock chips.

Kyle,
Thank you for expressing your concern regarding our wheels! I definitely agree, cracking wheels can be an extremely frustrating experience to deal with. I'm unsure of exact circumstances leading up to the damage that happened on your friend's wheels but as Swacer said, there are generally other factors at play. Hanging around the forums we’ve seen everything from forged monoblock wheels to forged 3 piece wheels to cast OEM wheels crack. The idea I’m getting at is that all wheels can fall victim to road hazards, it simply takes hitting the wrong pothole, at the wrong speed, at the wrong angle. Although road hazard damage falls outside our warranty, we still do our best to assist customers in these situations should they reach out to us.
Our wheels are tested to the highest standards and distributed worldwide. Many of our wheels are TUV certified for European road use (other wheel models are in the works). You can see a full list of our TUV certified wheels on our European website here -> http://vmrwheels.eu/certificates.html
As far as not “sealing to the tires,” this sounds very odd and not a problem we’ve really encountered. In these cases, it’s typically installer error but we’ve got a full staff in office Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM PST to help trouble shoot issues, regardless whose fault they are.
My point in saying all of this is also to show that we care about our customers and we are here to help. We make ourselves immediately accessible via various means (i.e. forum, facebook, email, telephone, showroom, etc.) to help offer superior customer service because to us, not only is it important to offer a great product at a reasonable price, but it’s equally important we stand behind our product and assist fellow-enthusiasts to the best of our ability.
If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Driving conditions can definitely have an effect on a wheel's durability for sure! I'm glad you've had a positive experience with your V710s!
Clean Camaro!
