Also never lift from the rear diff. People repeat that on automotive forums everywhere. That's an old wives tale/custom dating back to 50s cars with giant cast iron pumpkins.

The ideal place if you want to lift the center rear is the rear axle carrier, though for lifting only. supporting should be done by jackstands at the four pinch weld sections on the car sides. The front center jack point is kind of far back. knock on it with your hand. it's solid.
