Yes, I did, and it surprisingly wasn't very hard to negotiate with them. They were really easy to do business with overall. But I'm sure they made good money on my sale, nonetheless. Dealerships primary focus is, of course, to extract every last dollar they can from us. I flipped the cards on them and made them an offer they just barely couldn't refuse. Probably could've gotten a bit more off though.
Although I bought the car in 2014 it is a 2015 model and it was on the lot for one day. They just received it that Saturday. Hadn't even been unwrapped yet. Had like 4 miles on it. I was happy.
And yes, I wrote them a personal check for $44K. I had the money, wanted no car payment and wanted immediate equity. Although, I don't have an issue with financing normally, I'm a big believer in paying things off as soon as I can. To live debt-free. Plus I wanted to maximize my ROI and not give away a couple thousand to the bank if I didn't need to.
Best of luck finding a deal that'll make you happy. Take your time. Go in ready to walk out. No regrets!

Very informative. Thanks so much for your inputs. And if you don't mind me asking...
How is your experience with the is350 so far? Performance and fuel economy wise.

I can't speak for the 200T but I've driven an is250 AWD as a loaner car and it isn't even the same vehicle. There's no way I would ever even own one. the engine is just flat out bad and the fuel economy is the exact same as the 350. you'd be better off getting a bmw 320/328, hell even an acura TSX or accord v6. Get the IS350 with that awesome deal you posted. don't look back and don't think twice.

Yep, see sig. I normally drive in eco with a couple of commutes in S+ and manual. I think the EPA estimate of 18 city 26 highway is pretty spot on. on the weeks where i'm about 80% highway i'm averaging 24.5 mpg. when i'm about 40hwy /60city i'm getting 20-21. i've never seen anything below 19 even when i'm driving aggressively on my tank of gas. now for me , my definition of city is suburbia traffic and waiting at long lights. The car has been nothing but fantastic minus the crappy nav. do yourself a favor and get the 350. you WON'T regret it. it's just a blast to drive in my commute and the mpg penalty against the 200T is well worth it.

UPDATE!
Sooo.. I finally got the chance to test drive both the is350 and the is200t again.
is350, OTD 48.5-49k (fully loaded i guess)
is200t, they still working on the number cause I think they wanna sell me this one instead lol. It is fully loaded. They quoted me 44k OTD, but it seems they will go lower. maybe 42k?
As for my test drive... Yes the 350 is more fun, responsive, powerful. But, I think I will be going for the is200t... The price/fuel economy is my main focus for a car right now. (Gonna be a daily driver)
Plus, I probably not tap into the power of the 350..

I have a 2015 IS350 F Sport. 99.99% city driving, always in sport + mode, always drive it like i stole it, , have used Costco regular gas from the start, and i get at least 19mpg. No chance in hell that I'd get the 4 cylinder

OP, get what you want. don't let people on a car forum say otherwise. Yes, the 350 is faster, but there is nothing wrong with a 200t or 250. only get the 350 is that's what you really want

Either way, both cars are good, one is great

I still haven't bought the car yet. I'm still debating lol. I probably won't be puchasing the car till like January, since I'm going out of the country. No point of buying now and having it sit on my driveway.
However, I did tell the dealer, give me a good *** deal and I'll buy it right now. Too bad they didn't call me back...

Some people are silly. Get what you want. Looks like they May give a better deal on the 200t. And people are driving crazy and getting 19g with the 350. I get 24 doing the same and I clocked 30k this year and am averaging 29.8mpgs. Don't let the mpg rating fool you. Check fuelly and other sites and its closer to a 5mpg rating difference.
The 250 is a smooth engine that will last 300k easy. It's a turd for power and efficiency but it's bulletproof.
350 engine is one stage better. It's not that much quicker period and you can buy 2 mustangs that will walk your 350 for the price of one 350. You'll notice the power difference right away on hard acceleration and pulling hills etc. my wife couldn't really tell much after 2 test drives. I like both cars but both are severely underpowered.
I like the 200t in our nx and I like the 250 just fine.
I'm happy with my choice. They would not give me a deal I wanted on the 350 and after both discounts I got the 250 for 8k cheaper.
They are both good deals IMO. I'd get what provides you with the best value and makes you happy. My $$$ is that they want to sell the 200t and they'll make a soid deal on it.

i dont get why are people mentioning 250... it is 200t vs 350... 350 is going to be a lot faster but if you dont care about that, pretty sure IS200t will get at least 4-5 mpg better in real life situations. At least when NX 2.0t was tested against competition including BMW, it got much better fuel economy in real life. Not to mention that you would pay more for 350 at the start when you dont actually need more powerful engine.
