At the end of the day it's really what you prefer and what car works best for you. I have a 250 and I just purchased the 200t. The 200t had adequate power and I'm getting about 28 mpg with mixed city and highway driving. I leased the 200t simply because it's going to easier to trade out of when the new IS comes out and the numbers just worked better (insurance, mpg and payment). If you plan on having the car for more than 3 years get the 350 and I believe you'll be more satisfied overall with the car regardless of gas mileage.

i'm sure on paper the is200t will get better mpg's... but the real world difference in my buddy's is200t mpg's compared to my is350's mpg's are not huge. he gets about 28 and i get about 27.
he really regrets getting the 200t. lacks power, no adaptive suspension, AND there's no real difference in gas savings.

UPDATE!
So.. I just came back from vacation, and the sales person offered me $46,500 OTD for a 2015 Lexus is350 Fsport (loaded) around 40 miles on the meter (I tested drove it twice, lol). They have two in stock.. Silver on Black or Red.
Should I go for it? or is there more wiggle room to play with the numbers?
An exact same 2016 is350 model can be done for maybe 48k OTD..

For the 2016, I didn't get an exact OTD price. I offered $47,500 OTD, and the sales person didn't even bother to consider it. So I left.
The offer be rebutted came out to be $50,xxx OTD.. (Inc. tax and license). Basically, selling the car for $45,000 + 10.25% tax.
MSRP was $49,433, was my offer reasonable?

UPDATE !
So the dealer called me this morning and finally agreed on $46,000 flat OTD for the 2015. Should I go for this offer? It's about a $7500 savings. MSRP was $49,174
Also, another dealer quoted me for $48,800 for a 2016 model. I'm sure there is more wiggle room here since this was the first offer. MSRP was $49,433. Selling car for $44,388 + Tax, Lic. (~10%) =$ 48,826.80
