Default New to the Lexus scene...just picked up a '14 IS250 F-Sport!!!

Hey everyone! I'm new to Lexus, but not new to the forums! I actually joined these forums 9 years ago back in 2007 with the intentions of buying an IS300. That never happened. Then I planned on buying a 2IS...that also never happened.

After owning several sports cars ranging from two 97/98 Supra's, Evo, and a C5 Corvette, I decided to be 'normal' for a few years and buy a 2008 Honda Civic. It was a great car for five years. I also bought a Hummer H2 since I had always wanted one, while daily driving the Civic. After about a year of owning both vehicles, I decided it was time to get rid of both the Civic and Hummer for something I *really* wanted…a 3IS!!!

I went to my local Lexus dealer with every intention of leasing a '15 IS250 but at the end of the day, I felt like I really wanted to 'own' the car permanently since I liked it so much, not that there's anything wrong with leasing.

Anyway, I began my search and found the right deal for me. Its a 2014 model, white on red. I live in Missouri and found the car in south Texas. After negotiating and going back and forth for a week and a half, we finally came to a deal on Christmas Eve. I flew down the following Monday and my initial impressions of the car were nothing short of amazement. I truly fell in love. Im so happy I did my negotiations BEFORE I saw the car, as I probably would have paid more for it had I not, lol. The car is flawless. It has 30k miles, but not a single scratch inside or out. It came with all service records performed at Lexus as well. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning! I drove from Brownsville, Tx to Dallas and stayed the night, and drove the remainder of the 1000 mile trip the following day. Its the smoothest, quietest, most enjoyable car i’ve ever owned. I recently made my decision that I will remain Lexus for life. I am just flat blown away by the quality of this car- I had no idea this kind of innovation and perfection existed. Anyhow, on to the pics!

For my first mod, I decided to remove all the Toyota advertising they put on the car. I removed the front plate, and just had some WeatherTech floor mats arrive...love them!

Next on the mod list (on the way):
-iJDMtoy LED turn signals front & rear
-iJDMtoy LED reverse lights
-eBay 194 LED's for interior lights

WELCOME BROSKI!

I'm brand new to Lexus as well, purchased my own 14' 350 F-Sport White on Red last month as well.

Let me know how the install of those LED's go and how they look. That's the next "mod" on my list, just not too sure how much time/work it will take to swap out actual lights.

I tackled them a couple weeks ago and they look amazing! I went with the iJDMtoy one's, and they're insanely bright. Previously, I used eBay and Amazon LED's in my two last cars, and the iJDMtoy blows them away. The rears are literally blinding at night! lol They come with plug n play decoders, so no need to wire in resistors. I did amber up front, and red in the back.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I love this car!
