Is this car worth it.

Not everyone can get the best deal of the year. luck, time of the day/month, & desperate sale all comes to play when buying a car. If they gave one away they have to charge another more.

Just to be clear, that price was before tax&lic. OTD came out to be about 45K.
Preferred package is the wheel locks, carpets, cargo nets, and etc. And its the illuminated door seals.
And yes, buying towards the end of the year helps greatly. However, at that time the avg price people are buying it for was about 42-43k.

Yep. To be honest, I only had a budget of 44k. I eventually signed for OTD price of 43k and dealer is going to replace that shifter. It is definitely a good idea to wait till the end of the year to get it. Unfortunately, I need the car to travel now. Anyway, it seems like I didn't steal a deal. But I am pretty excited to join the Lexus club!

No not worth it
I bought a 2016 Lexus is 350 fsport. Navi. Blind spot, assessory package. The steering wheel upgrade. Out the door 49761$. That's 2016. Basically I got 2500$ off msrp. I think that was good deal. 3000$ Off would be perfect but that's alot hassle bargaining.

What was MSRP for that...? Feels like you just paid sticker + a little more out the door..

I got a new 2016, fully loaded is350 fsport for $47,500 OTD. MSRP was $49,433
I also got an offer for an identical 2015 is350, for $46k OTD, only had 30miles on it.
Your paying 2K less for a more wildly used up car. Not worth. If it was under 40K OTD then MAYBE..
Note: I'm in Cali, everything more expensive here. Seeing all your post getting is350s for like $5k less makes me wanna cry.

MSRP for the car was $49,433
Selling price for the car was ~$42,800
+ 10% sales tax, it came out to be $47,500 out the door.
discounted around 6000-6500, for a 2016.

You gotta create tension between dealers. I know that sounds kind of a shaddy move, but yeah.
Other than that, the sales person that sold me the car seems like a pretty chill guy; went to the same university as me, probably why he was willing to help me out.
