So my gf parked at the mall and when she pulled out the front bumper got stuck on the parking divider and came off on the left side. One of the fastening holes appears to be torn and it appears the bumper just needs to be put back in place. Anyone here had this issue? I'm trying to figure out how much it'll cost to fix.Thanks.
This has happened to be before. The bumper clearance on the edge is too small for a zip tie fix. Once the clips are broken, they are done. The local body shop helped me with some sand+cement mix to hold it together. But to get a true fix, you have to replace the entire bumper, unfortunately.
this has happened on my buddy's civic, and what we did was use epoxy and refill the broken tab and drilled through it. it's SOLID and if you accuratly drill through the same spot where the original tab was at, the fitment will be spot on. it's not very hard to do, and it's probably the best route to go

That's actually what a local shop did for me today. They charged me $75 which was a lot less that what other shops were asking and had it done in 3 hrs (mostly to let the epoxy dry).

that's not bad. the materials (assuming you had the power tools already: epoxy, tape, drill bit, sanding bit) would have cost you around $20, and your work it might not be as nice as the shop's.
