Default Help!!! No audio 2015 is350 fsport

Hey guys I have a 2015 Lexus is350 fsport. Today while driving the audio just stopped. I switched to cd and it played and then stopped once I restarted my phone which was still connected to Bluetooth. I've heard this can be attributed to the factory amp being dead! Has anyone had this problemCan anyone tell me where to find it?

I would start by checking all fuses. If you're looking for the factory amp, it is in the passenger side corner of the trunk, near the tail light, under the first aid kit. I've never read of this happening on this car, so I'm interested to learn more about it. Please Let us know if you're able to resolve this.

How would I know if a fuse went bad?

You can use a fuse tester or a multimeter. If a fuse did blow, though, there is usually an underlying cause, and it will most likely blow again soon after replacing it. Checking the fuses may at least help to put you on the right track, though.

Ok thanks! I appreciate it! I have an aftermarket subwoofer in a box in the trunk and amp! My car is obviously under warranty! Do u think I'd be better off having a Lexus dealer look at it?

If you have an aftermarket sub added, then I would first check the wiring at the factory amp where you tapped in the LOC - hopefully nothing got shorted out in those connections. I'm not sure that I would take it back to lexus for this one, just in case the problem was caused by the aftermarket sub hookup. Check the wiring and all fuses
