Highest 3IS mileage
Does anyone think they have the highest mileage on a 3rd generation IS? If so, how has it held up so far? Anything major that needed to be replaced or repaired?

My buddy has 170k on his 2IS. Oil, brakes, other fluids and tires is pretty much all he has done to it.
These cars are bullet proof. I can't say the same for the 3Series I have as well.

2014 IS250 AWD with over 26,000 miles. Zero problems and is smooth, solid and still drives like new. I noted that you have the IS250 as well. Perhaps not the fastest 0-60 time, but the motor is very strong, quiet and vibration free. Can't say that for four cylinder motors, but CAFE standards are forcing manufacturers to increase the use of plastic, aluminum and smaller turbo charged motors.
Also, no oil consumption between 10,000 mile recommended oil changes. I believe this car will still be going strong after 100,000 miles.

I have a '14 250 at 56K. I had to change out the battery last month. It went completely dead on me at the gas station and then repeatedly every time I turned off the engine. Relatively minor, and other than some clicking sound inside the stereo, the car seems okay.

**23,000 - other than the issue above, nothing major (there is one rattle I'm about to address)**

Almost at 29,000 miles for a 2014 IS 350 F Sport although I got it back when it had about 19,000 miles. There hasn't been any issues with the engine or the electronics of the car.

I'm at 12k miles and haven't had too many issues.
At least not ones I would have known about had I not been a member of the forums.
1) Sliding roof garnish (the accordian like thing on the sunroof) came detached from the window on the left side. It was replaced.
2) Had the navigation SB done as it had restarted on me 2-3 times.
3) Had the issues with streaks and fingerprints all over my Nav screen. They replaced it or the anti-glare protection on top.
4) Had some rattle from the window switches on the driver side (they put some extra padding in there).
5) Trunk light never lit up. Turns out my tint guy forgot to plug it back in when he did the tinting immediately after I purchased it. (dealer fixed it)
All in all, car has been fine other than the Nav SB. Hoping they get the ventilated seat issue solved though.

do they give you a newer revision of the hardware that is less laggy?
