Default Carbon fiber interior success!

After quoting around and getting prices $200-$500, I decided to do the carbonfiber vinyl wrap myself. Using the 3m di noc gloss black I've gotten in Amazon for $22, I decided to give it a go and try it out.

I honestly have never used a heat gun in my entire life Andy was told hair dryer wouldn't give off enough hot air. Was able to do all four door arm controls and the glove box rim. Maybe center console next? The job took my four hours by myself, and after many burned fingers, it came out pretty decent! First timer, not the greatest job (some flaws) but I saved myself $200.

Did you take the trim off the car when you put on the carbon fiber or did you leave it on the car? You might have over heated the edges on the driver door buttons on the right towards the bottom. Over heating it will melt the texture and carbon fiber look which then just turns into a matte black wrap

I did take them off and overheated it at bit because I got really impatient lol, but it's not too noticeable (at least to me). I just glad I saved a lot of money

Should've went with the carbon fiber 4D vinyl wrap it's only $5 on amazon as well, and it looks alot better than the 3D.

We actually had the 5d generic one. It looks great but it was very flimsy and it ripped very easily. Especially since it was my first time doing something like this. It felt like it could have ripped any moment and lose its design right away if stretched or heated too much
