IS3 and Summer Tires
Does anyone have an IS3 with Summer Tires and experiencing fast wear?
I want to get an IS200t F-Sport, but I don't want Summer Tires. I've heard that they wear out by 10,000 miles.

the stock summer tires that come w/ the car suck. Just get them and ride them out for the first 15K miles then get Michelin PSS or Continental DW's .not much else you can do unless you want to swap them out and sell the stock tires.

Its worth it for me to have excellent grip in the summer. I use snows in the winter, anyway.

The bridgestones that come stock on the car really do suck. Mine didn't last me 6 months. Also, I'd recommend an alignment as soon as you get the car, as the 3IS almost always comes with the toe off enough to wear your tires excessively fast on the inside.
I got a set of BFGoodrich G-Force Sport comp-2's for just over 600 bucks from tirerack and they have excellent tread wear rating and grip, they're just not as quiet as the stock tires but once you get over 45~mph the sound is virtually gone.
