Default How hard is it to fix this bulge paint coming out on the passenger door rear?

Does anyone know if this is hard to fix?

I never seen this before. Today I was driving on the freeway. I then heard a loud "pluck" noise as if a rock hit my car. When I got home, I saw this bulge popping out on my right passenger rear door. It looks like it's swollen.

It doesn't look like a rock hit the car though. Otherwise, it would have been a dent inwards with paint chipped. It's really close to the rear passenger door speaker too. I wonder if something in the speaker popped and made a bulge like that outwards.

Any feedback to fix this would be great... It looks so obvious. My poor Lexus

is that a dent from the inside? or is it just a paint blemish?

It looks like a dent from the inside. The black stuff is just dirt from the rain

if the metal has bulged, then something serious has exploded inside that door panel. that's a sheet of machine pressed steel. you might want to take it to the dealership

Yeah, get a PDR (pointless Dent removal) guy to knock it back even.
