I'm planning on getting Stance SF01 19x8.5 +35 front and 19x9.5 +? rear
from what I have read on the forum the popular choice in the front are the +35 and +38/40 for the rear. The problem is that I don't want to experience any rubbing. There's even a guy who posted that he was rubbing on stock suspension with 265 +38 in the rear. I'm thinking on going with the rsr down or half down but not sure I can sit people in the back without rubbing.
Should 255 +38 in the rear solve this problem?
Should 265 +40 in the rear solve this problem?
Should I be very conservative and do 255 +40?
Does +38 sticks out or is it flush? I've "seen" some pic of the +38 but cant really tell
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

for the fronts, 8.5+35 would stick pretty far in. at 8.5, most would run +30, maybe even +25.
for the rears, 265 on a 9.5+40 would be a nice clean flush look with no rubbing
the difference between +38 and +40 are so small, you'd probably wouldn't notice.

even on downs? what about 265 +45 just to be safe. I'm not really a freak of "it must be flush". I can later use spacers
will have to search for the +30 on the front

I'm running the Stance SF01's in 19x8.5 +35 front and 19x9.5 +38 rear. The front tires are 235/35 and rear tires are 265/30. I don't have any issues with rubbing. The rear wheels are able to barely tuck inside the wheel well when compressed. Attached is a picture I took pulling into a steep driveway to test the clearance. I have RS-R half downs on order, but I'm currently on stock suspension.

Can you upload picture from behind/straight and behind/angle to see how much they stick out?

According to www.willtheyfit.com, you shouldn't have a problem in the front.
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 3.7mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 16.4mm more than before.
