They need to added supercharge, Turbo or make the car couple hundred pound lighter.

This also means that we'll see a mild price drop on 3rd party vendors kits ie: front splitter, skirts, and diffusers that were made for our current 3is =) with this, we can have a better/aggro look than the new facelift model.

Likewise. I'll have to see it in person.

But as of right now, this car looks like they lost their way with designs. Someone is trying wayyy too hard with this styling.

I wouldn't get it myself just because the cup holders are still in an awkward spot. Will stick with the 3is then maybe go for a different brand for my next vehicle.

I think the cup holders are a big eye sore and just downgrade the elegant class of the interior. It's a shame they could not hide them away yet still be functional.

I read an article on the 2017 IS today that said the headlights you see on the F Sport pictures just released will NOT be carried over into the U.S.

"It's also revised the headlight shape, but Lexus is quick to note that the coolest looking headlights are "not US spec." Bummer."

My 2015 seems like a great deal now. No power upgrade. No memory seats. It got a bit uglier. Yay.

Really nice to see the Audio/Climate plate fit between the knee bolsters now. Much more elegant

it will carry over but probably with variation to it. i.e. the orange reflector tossed in for DOT regulation to ugly-ify them

I still don't understand or see where it is on the knee bolsters, so far the pics they have don't really show them. What do you mean Audio plate? The Mark Levinson signature plate was moved to the knee bolster?

he means that the audio plate is recessed between the knee bolsters rather than sitting slightly above as it was before. the audio plate, btw, is the plate that controls the audio as well as the hvac systems amongst a few other things.

Well I'm no longer worried about the 2017 model looking a lot better than my 14'. The 10.3" screen is the only real winner here. The refreshed exterior is not worlds better, in fact I wouldn't say it's better at all. The headlights are less aggressive and more subdued and the exhaust tips are less sporty looking. The tail lights are ok but those front air ducts.. not sure what to think I'll reserve final judgement until I see the 2017 models in person.

I don't know if I'm disappointed or not that we won't get the new headlight design in North America. I sort of like the round projector in the non F sport model better, it's a unique feature of the 3IS. The front bumper though, has too much scoopage and way too much going on, IMO. I would worry about the 2017 bumper getting ******ED while parallel parked since there isn't as much as of an actual bumper area on the 2017 vs the 2014-16. I get the new tail lights, but it's a little too much "L" and as someone pointed out it looks like a Kia.

I'm in the market and I don't want a 2017, even if it has a bigger screen.

i'm really indifferent with the styling updates, and disappointed but not surprised they didn't update the engines.
