That is interesting...at the bottom of the ScoutGPSLInk website, it says "2017 RX models..." so likely not IS models. The IS nav is horrible...I dont regret getting it because I may feel incomplete w/o it, but I never use it. I just have my phone mounted up high and use that.
+1. I tried using the nav system for about 6 months but finally gave up. Not only is the UI awful, but the actual routes make no sense. The last straw was a trip from Philly to the Outer Banks. I was running Waze and the Lexus nav at the same time. Waze said my ETA was 7 hours. Lexus was over 8. I can't remember the exact times, but you get the idea. I followed Waze and ignored when the Lexus nav told me to turn. As I ignored the exit, the Lexus nav would eventually re-route. Every time it re-routed, it would drop significant time off the trip. Eventually, after 4-5 hours of driving, the Lexus nav had re-reouted to the point it finally came into agreement with Waze.
So this begs the question...
Why was the Lexus nav trying to take me the long way when Waze clearly knew a more direct and faster route????
Brendanf, thanks for sharing. The preview is just a highlight some features so I wouldn't discount an Executive package offering the multi-LED headlights. We'll know soon enough.
I wonder how much the tail lights would be to replace. =D
Although I love my LEDs, I have a feeling the HIDs may be a little better performing as far as output and coverage. I am not sure what projectors they use inside--maybe similar to the NX?. The ones on the NX w/ HID are bright. Saw an NX at night with HIDs and what appeared to be LED fogs and it looked superb. (stock)

let me know if you'd like to swap headlights. i'm in socal as well
Highly doubt it. Visual references say other wise.
Changing a hood design even slightly would be millions of dollars in investment. If I can't tell the difference in photos, I doubt Toyota would be wasting 7 figures for that. My vote is it's the same.
