The more I look at the hood, the more it looks the same. The changes to the width of the headlamp create a visual trick as to the hood being changed. But the edges look very similar (including the fender to bumper edges). I roughly mocked up images to show how similar they are. The photos aren't taken of the exact same angle, but its close. The white reflection on the 17 isn't actually a crease based on other photos. Edges seem to line up pretty well.

The triple LEDs w/ LED turn signals look sooo aggressive/advanced. Hoping retrofits are easier than expected, eliminating the need for a hood replacement too. Would still need a lot of parts: DRL, all the bumper parts, and headlights...sounds expensive still. LOL.

^Is the DRL really different? I can see them changing that part. That wouldn't cost much to change.

I think it is...it looks way more angled from what I can tell. The leading point has a much sharper angle.

watch the video
hood is different but probably still a direct swap
the hood now has a raised bulge in the middle
f-sport grill is now painted? in jet-black metallic (what is now?)

if u change the front bumper wouldn't u need to change the front grill as well?!

I wonder if those taillights will fit the 2014 model? They look good, more aggresive imo.

I think they will fit. Probably very expensive though. $350 a side maybe? as with any modern tail light

I wonder if that's just a crappy editor w/ crappy writing making assumptions. I am still not seeing the center section of the hood raised up. Pics dont show it. Looks the same to me in all pics so far.

Thanks! You guys see the hood raised up? I don't...

But I love the new bumpers though. The F Sport and non F-Sport are closer in style now. I like both!

The Lexus press release does mention the hood appears more sculpted in the middle. I don't see anything though. Maybe it's something you notice in person. Not seeing in pics. Also I wonder if the F Sport grill surround is painted while the rest of the car is chrome? that wouldn't match.

Looks like the Facelift gets all standard electronic goodies. lane assist, etc.

The press release also mentions the car comes w/ standard LED but the pics still show the single projector w/ HID and the triple LED headlights... TWO LED options?

And a bonus for non-sport guys:

Anyone down to do a group buy for the new rear diffuser piece and exhaust tips? I would definitely be interested.

Also, after seeing these photos my mind is at ease and I'm not overly upset I went with the 2016 last month instead of waiting. The facelift is nice, don't get me wrong, but not enough to be disappointing for those of us that just picked up 16s. Front bumper is definitely an aggressive update, but not sold on the new headlight shape or the new tails.

Anyone with me?

No I'm not with you the refresh looks way better and I would buy it in a heartbeat compared to the 16.

I seem to be the only person that likes function over fake scoops. I wish scoops (on all cars) were functional instead of a way to catch more bugs, dirt and air. Just make them functional one way or another.
