Fellas, I'm new here. I have a 2014 is350 fsport, 20,800, miles. Basic warranty says I have up to 50k miles or 4 years.

My brakes squeak really bad at 5-10mph... will the warranty (Basic) cover this? What will the Lexus service dept actually do? Also, will they charge me anything at all or literally all covered by basic warranty???

Nope, I dont believe brakes are covered.

 

I reported this to my service advisor during my 10K service and they told me they could not do anything about it other than reporting it to Lexus Corp.

 

Really basic doesn't cover it?

 

Brakes are wear and tear items which are not covered.

 

I had the same problem with mine, my car was at around 19K so i took it to Lexus of Orlando. They ended up shaving my rotors down and replacing my brake pads. They were able to do it all under warranty.
