I'm pretty sure my car doesn't go that speed.

Well, after much debate I ended up ordering a Valentine V1 with Saavy and a V1connection for Android. I'm going to see if I can buy a cheap Android phone off of Craigslist and use it to configure my Valetine. Will let you guys know how it goes!

Obviously you have not encountered enough of these annoying vehicles.

Yes, the Escort Max 360 is excellent. I got mine about two weeks ago to replace my aging VOne.

About a month ago on a four lane (two lanes each direction with a good sized grassy/wooded median) in the back woods middle of nowhere in rural MS going with traffic (many were passing me) I got stopped by one of the finest MHP. He said I was going 75 in 65!!! WTF!!! After the usual questioning which I was very courteous he decided to let me go on professional courtesy. Lucky for me!!! I was not even in my RC-F, I was in a brand new very nice shiny Lexus loaner ES300 hybrid. As we all know and suspect, profiling was going on.

Anyway, at the time I had my VONE on and the problem was there were two Chevy Tahoes with BSM/Auto Radar Cruise Collision Warning systems on board. So my VONE was beeping the whole time for like 15 minutes plus. I knew which Chey Tahoes were the culprits. I either will need to speed up and get way ahead or just drop back way back so my VONE will shut up. I decided to drop back. Even with dropping back and slow down, the MHP still decided to chase me down!! WTF!! He was definitely profiling due to the type of vehicle involved thinking he's got a juicy fat one!!

Anyway, had it not been the stupid false alarms for more than 15 minutes constantly, I would had a better chance at it.

So now with the Escort Max 360, no more false alarm like the above. Still got other false alarms, but much less.

I am very happy with the Escort Max 360.

As an aside, like an iPhone, the V1 maintains its value. I sold my first V1 earlier this year to buy one with the latest hardware. After 10 years, I was able to sell it on eBay for 75% of its original price.

I would venture to say that the issue was your "aging" v1. The latest versions have no issues with auto radar.

Yes, I was referring to AUDI as being terrible in this aspect of setting off my 9500ix.. they still are...

the new contender is any 2016 GMC SUV... sigh.

What I don't understand is that I am driving a car with radar cruise control, BSM and pre collision radar.. My own car doesn't set off the detector, yet others do - WTF ?! Why can't the other car manf. do the same thing that lexus does??

The V1 technology/design had not really advanced in nearly 15+years.

Yes, my THREE V1 maybe "old", but if you look at numerous YouTube videos EVEN with the latest versions of V1 still can NOT cut out the annoying false alarms and still have full sensitivity. Especially against GM/Chevy and Audi vehicles.

Escort MAX 360 is the one I use now. However, you may still use the OLD OUTDATED V1, even with the latest version is still WAY BEHIND the Escort MAX 360.
