Default brake pedal location... is it just me?

Just picked up a '14 IS350. Drove the IS several times before finally settling on one. Purchased it yesterday. On the long ride home after the purchased I noticed for the first time how far left the brake pedal is... to the point of not feeling 'comfortable' switching between the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal. So this is kind of bugging me. The brake pedal is actually centered, slighted left of the middle of the steering wheel. Anyone else notice this? I assume there is really nothing one can do about this. Thanks for any comments.

Pedal location seems normal enough to me, and I drive a lot of rental cars when traveling for business. What was your last car?

I feel like the peddles are too close.. I find my self on the brake and gas at the same time- always getting the warning message. I noticed this on my first is (2014), I have a 2015 now and I guess I've just gotten use it it. I also have awd and I believe there is a hump by the driver peddle... You just get used to it.

Last car was a manual Audi s4.
Glad to hear that it may be in my head. That means I may get it out of my head.

It's all in your head look at the bright side you clearly don't have an awd because that hump drove me nuts until I stopped caring.
