change side mirrors puddle lights
#16
Finally decided to tackle the puddle light swap. Ordered enough LED's to do my puddle lights, and my fiance's 2IS puddle lights and her interior lights as well. I was surprised with how easy it was, only pain was trying not to crack the mirror
All in all, took me about 30 minutes to do both sides and it makes a world of a difference. Thanks @CRFTD for posting the how-to, otherwise I would've never done it!!

LED bulb upgrade
I ordered the same ones you just did and installed the 10 interior LED and 2 backup LED. I still needed to order more as I still have to upgrade the vanity lights and the trunk. I think the dome lights can be brighter so I ordered two pairs of
Thanks for the video, been looking for something like that to figure out the mirrors!
I just did mine a couple weeks ago and ordered some awesome lights off of Amazon. I spent $33 and did the whole interior and the reverse lights. Now I'm just debating when to venture and do the puddle lights...scared to break the mirrors

Once they come in, I plan to pull the LEDs currently used for the front and back dome and use them for the vanity then install the JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 30-EX Chipsets 168 175 194 2825 W5W T10 New Style LED Bulbs,Xenon White. I'll replace the bulb in the trunk with one of these as well and have one as a spare.
I may get the courage to do the puddle lights, so concerned about the mirror and cracking it. I wish Lexus just used screws in the bottom of the housing and not require mirror removal to replace a bulb.

If you're going to put LEDs in your interior overhead lights, I can recommend this set very highly. They're expensive, but they are fantastic. Don't use the sticky tape, just set them in above the lenses and they are good to go. Super bright, and the LED pattern is marvelous - my most favorite mod.

I personally ordered these and put them in the overhead a few days ago. Will do the rest as time and weather (heat) permits.

They look good. No use ordering a "kit" as all those bulbs are the same.
