Will Lexus bring back the IS-F V8?
I'm coming from the BMW world and getting married with kids so I need a 4door.
It sort of sucks that they don't make the IS-F anymore but now it's the RC-F. Even then, I don't see how they can sell more RC-F's than they did IS-F. The IS-F at least has 4 doors and seats 5. The RC-F (which my friend has a RC-350) seems a bit cramped in the rear.
Having said that, does anyone know if Lexus is intending to bring back the IS-F anytime soon? Some sources say they won't use the V8 version anymore.

it sounds like one has to pony up to the GS-F. But I can't fathom the fact that they simply took the old V8 from 2008 (8 years ago) tuned it to 467hp, slapped in the same 8 spd tranny, a new rear torque vectoring differential and charging us $87 grand to start. It's just hard to swallow dropping nearly six figures for the GS-F, that's all.
There are plenty of cars that can outperform the GS-F for less. Even a 4 door M3 starts at $63 grand with better performance and gas mileage.

the rc f though dropped like 13k in 1 year though so the gs f will definitely drop down in price, new.
