Default Dealership needs to redo my lease contract?

I just got a call from my dealership and they told me they need me to come in and redo my lease contract. Apparently the finance guy forgot to add the first months payment, is what I was told. Do i have any grounds to not redo it? And has this happened to anyone before? Just wanted some opinions.

You'd have to read the legal print ... There may be a disclaimer in there that if they make a mistake and notify you within in certain time period you have to redo it ... I'm not an attorney but I would read the whole contract and see if there is clause in there about something like this. If there's no clause then they have to eat the mistake.

That happened to me too. They actually made a mistake, I was on a 4 year lease instead of a 3 year lease. We had to come in and sign some papers, our monthly payment went down because of the error, like $15. It was something. Just go in and see. Make sure it benefits you and not them.

I went through my contract and yes there is some wording in there about giving the lessee 10 days notice if the lease cannot be assigned by dealer to a financial institution on terms acceptable to dealer, the lease can be rescinded. But it is already past 10 days so I'm assuming they really can't rescind the lease anymore.
