Does anyone know how to remove the blank buttons by left side of steering wheel where BSM button is located? I need to install a switch there but not sure how to take out blank buttons.
Normally you can just use a plastic trim removal tool to pop the the blank button out. If you don't have one you may be able to get by with a small regular screwdriver and a rag but you need to be careful to not damage the surrounding plastic.
I was able to take out the buttons. Surrounding trim needs to be removed first, the button will not come out by prying from front it had to be pushed out from back.
