Default Do IS250/IS350 parts fit the IS300

Hello Guys,

I tried googling, and searching here in the forums but I can't seem to figure out. I do not know if it's my word tracking or whatever but. This Friday I am visiting a Lexus dealership where I plan to pickup a 2016 Lexus IS300 AWD. Now I was looking online for parts (exhaust, wheels, suspension, etc) for the car but there is absolutely no selection for IS300. So my question is. If I ordered an exhaust that was meant to fit the IS350, would it fit on the Is300? I look forward to hearing from you guys! Thank you.

It's my understanding that IS300 have detuned IS350 engine. So if that theory holds, IS300 should be able to fit IS350 parts (suspensions, wheels, etc.). I do have an axleback exhaust (Tsudo) for my '16 IS300 but i think axlebacks are universal for IS250/300/350.

That is what I thought aswell but I want to make sure because I don't want to spend anywhere between $1000 and $2000 to buy the exhaust and have it not fit.

Air intake for the 350 will work for the 300 but not exhaust. I have confirmed with at least magnaflow that their 350 exhaust will not fit for my is300.

Did they say why? I can see a 2015 350 exhaust not fitting a 2017 300 because of the rear diffuser. More so it would look odd because of the cutouts in the diffuser...physically it should bolt right up.
Mechanically the two vehicles are the same. Unless the Magnaflow exhaust is only for AWD or RWD, and they don't have for both variants.

IS300 AWD and IS350 AWD are the same car with different engine ECU's.

They didn't tell me why and just said it was build for the 2016 IS300. I always get a uncomitt answer when i contact these vendors for parts and i don't want to take a chance on big price item and find out it's not a perfect fit. That would really pis s me off lol. I asked Stillen the same thing with their 2014+ IS350 rear diffuser and they said the same thing.

Anything made to fit a 2016 IS350 will fit a 2016 IS300.
