Center Console & Radio Removal / Beat-Sonic iPhone Mirror Installation
This was published today by Beat-Sonic. I read console removal/install was easy, but this video makes it look like a piece of cake! Reference this for removing the center console, radio and/or for a Beat-Sonic install. Because it looks so simple, I'm tempted now to order the iPhone mirror set-up (if I can't hold out for their Apple CarPlay solution sometime next year).

I installed this kit this past weekend and it's pretty easy to do. It was kind of scary pulling and prying on the trim pieces and hoping they didn't break, but it all came out nicely in the end.
I plan on making a review video for this kit after I've used it for a couple of weeks.

You'll need to have your input set to the AV output for your iPhone to mirror. It won't automatically switch to AV when you plug in your iPhone. However, if you leave your navigation unit on AV and turn off your car, it will start up next time in AV mode and all you have to do is plug in your iPhone. As far as the radio thing goes, once you enter AV mode, all the audio will be coming out of iPhone so you won't hear the radio.

Interesting will have to look into this. Is there a link to the actual product?

I believe you have to buy IF04EP if you have Nav, the one without Nav should be IF02EP.
