Default Repair cost?

I was driving home from work yesterday when a huge rock from under the mobile home, which the truck in front of me was transporting, came flying and hit the roof of my car (I was at least 150-200 feet). It left a minor dent and a deep scratch. Wondering if anyone knows how much would it cost to have it repaired?

It doesn't look bad from the photo but it is. I can see the metal (which would definitely start rusting if not taken care of soon.)

Can't really do PDR on something that has a deep paint scratch like that. I would take it to a couple places to get some estimates. They will most likely pull the dent and blend a large area of the paint. Maybe $500 to $1,000.

It's going to be expensive. I'm very picky about my car and it upsets me when things like that happen, but even I would just touch it up and move on. If you did decide for a shop to work on it, know that it's also a risk that you're taking because like DSPEED said, they'll have to blend your paint, which means they will be touching the original paint around it.

Polish out whatever you can by using Scratch X: http://amzn.to/2cZonZG and a microfiber towel

THEN just touch it up with a paint pen or similar touch up paint assuming there's exposed steel. This just may be superficial paint transfer you can polish out. You'd just be left with a dent. Don't bother fixing something like that unless it's a lease and you are returning soon. Even then, they may forgive it.
