So I had my car on a trailer since I was moving to a different state . I was backing up the car to get off the trailer and all of a sudden I heard a cracking noise so I stop to see what it was. Apparently I left one of the handle up that is used to tighten the straps on the tires. As a result the handle rip the fender liner, lower plastic and bumper. Luckily it only broke a couple clips on the bumper. I want to know if these bumper clip can fix or im going to have to get a new bumper?
Only way to find out is tear it down and see what broke and replace it. I assume you tried pushing it back in? You certainly wont need a new bumper. that would be a huge waste.
remove the bumper, observe/repair damages and put it back on. I went over a curb and bent my bumper out of place. looked terrible, but i removed the entire bumper and I just had to bend something back into place, with nothing broken.
hey! there's hope at the end of the tunnel. i do not recommend changing the whole bumper. it looks like you just broke off a few tabs. believe it or not, those are really easy to fix. and they'll be stronger after the fix
the area that you have to work with on that corner is extremely thin... I tore 1 of the clips and it was not repairable (without being noticeable). I repaired it once and a parking curb popped it loose again. I ended up getting a new bumper.
