car is at dealer. According to the dealers representatives this have no influence on normal car running. But still it gives some uneven acceleration. Computer is not showing any faults.
This is not first is200t with this issue. Other one have it at 60000 km (37000miles)

Mini-Update :

Apparently, the part has arrived at the dealer on Wednesday, but still have not heard back.
It's looking like I'll have the loaner car for the third weekend in a row.

I just hope it's taking them long to make sure that all related issues are addressed, whatever they may be.

geesh! whodathunk it would take soooo long to fix?! since it's a known issue you'd think they'd keep everyone stocked with this part.

I'm not sure if it's a well-known issue outside of this thread.
I wasn't able to find any other threads regarding this issue, and my service advisor didn't seem aware of it until the techs confirmed the defective part.

I'll try to find more info on what the part does exactly, and what other parts its defect can affect.

Update :

Just heard back from Lexus, letting me know that the car is finally ready.
Car was dropped off on 01/20/2017, so it's taken 3.5 weeks.
(Actual repair took 1 day. Part was on back order).

Going to pick up the car tonight.

On a side-note, I asked the dealership not to wash my car, but they did so anyway.
I had CQuartz applied to my car, and recently had it detailed again,
so not looking forward to seeing it all scratched up by the dealership wash....

I'll be sure to ask the dealership what the part does.

It sounds like the part you are referring to is the vacuum regulating valve for the wastegate. I have a 16 200t that has uneven/surging acceleration, and that valve is bad. Essentially its the ecu's vacuum control for the wastegate. When it fails, it can't hold vacuum enough to maintain steady wastegate flow, so you have boost surges. Tricky thing is that the boost will hit the target number, or remain within a couple psi of that number where the computer thinks everything is ok, and therefore does not trigger a check engine light. Part is on backorder, so i'm wondering if its gonna become a "thing". Hope this helps.

As for the noise concern, it sounds like your radiator fans, and/or maybe the electric water pump. My above comment was in regards to the other issue in the thread.

hi.
i have a same problem.
Did you solve this problem?
I visited the a / s center, but they said it was normal.
I am a little disappointed with Lexus if that is true.

hi

just force them to Change mentioned part.
In my case I share a movie with this noise, leave car and after two days was ready to pick up.
They told that this is common fault in this model and first case that they noticed was in RC-F.
But owerall - just ask them to exchange the part. If they still resist you need to tell that you still note the acceleration fluctuation - this should convince them.

what should I replace?
do you know that?
Some people say vacuum valves or fuel injectors are a problem.

go to dealer and force them to change it.
don't do it yourself.
They need the find solution for this problem, not you.

I have exactly the same noise issue, and it is indeed the vacuum valve regulator is making that noise. It seems this particular part is not very reliable. I am currently waiting for my 2nd replacement of this part.

The first time I had it replaced was around 10,000 miles. Now at 15,000 miles, the new part is making the same noise again. I just brought the car to the dealer last week and I am currently waiting for the replacement
