Default Stored 2nd set of TPMS sensors question...

When you put the winter tires back on the car and you have saved the sensor id's (ATEQ), do you have to put the wheels/sensors back in the same location that they were in when they were taken off? For example, right front wheel needs to go back to the right front, or will the computer pick up placement and recalibrate the new location?

nope, but do a reset/relearn so the pressures are at the correct position in the cluster.
the reset button is hidden under the steering column.

What there's a physical reset button under the steering column??? I thought 3IS didn't have that. Where is the button????

Do you need to do this when you install new TPMS + update the config via OBDII? I could never get my car to read the new TPMS - I took it to a shop and they couldn't do it either...but they said their Techstream software was out dated. I tried the Carista Beta and couldn't get it to work. I stored the new codes - when I pull the data it shows the codes are stored - but it won't read it.

Beside the OBD2 plug.. if you still can't find it, look on the owners manual, there's a pretty good diagram to show the location
