2015 IS 250 F-Sport - Custom Image Upload
Hey guys,
Just got me car on the 25th. This is my first time posting
Been doing a lot of reading on uploading custom images but I can't get it... I'm going to need some expert advice here. Here is what I've tried:
1) Format USB drive with FAT32 format and 32kb allocation size. I've also tried the default allocation size for the device. Still no luck.
2) Create folder called "Image". This is what's in the owners manual. I've seen plenty of other threads that say to use "StartupImage". I've tried this as well, but this seems to be for older versions of the software.
3) Put JPG / JPEG files in the Image folder which are less than 10MB and less than 32 characters in the file name. I've tried both file types and very short file names. I've also tried various files sizes from a few KB to 1MB.
4) Menu -> Settings -> General Settings -> Custom Imaages -> Copy from USB.
5) I'm able to browse the USB drive. I can see the pictures and select them. When I go to copy the pictures I just get a message telling me to check the owners manual regarding the types of pictures which are allowed.
Frustrated and at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

No worries. The first link takes you to a thread where in the third post links to the Lexus video on how to do this, should take you through it.

If that methodology doesn't do it, there may be something else going on.

Thanks for the response.
Yes. I've tried 3 different USB drives. 2 of my own. One can see the pictures but can't upload them. The other doesn't work at all. The 3rd USB I picked up from my dealership when I was there last week. It also can see the images but can't upload them.
