I'll let ya know - just mounted it today - don't expect too many issues as it's maybe 1/2 or 3/4 (at max) lower at any point than the stock bumper. My IS is a daily driver and winter beater. I am at stock height and have not touched any parking curbs/bumpers yet, but i will not pull full up with the lip on now,
I was surprised at a few points of road rash already under the stock bumper. 2 or 3 small chips - in 1000 miles, looks like things thrown up from the road - white really shows it. if nothing else I guess the lip will be the sacrifice now.

This may seem like a dumb question, but I am curious to know. Have any of you notice a difference in handling in you vehicles after installation of any the aforementioned splitters? I know that it likely wouldn’t be noticed below 70mph or 120kph or there about, I wondered if it created any negative lift to the vehicles. I know that they don’t stick out far enough on stock height to create the downforce intended, but some of your rides are low enough for them to actually be functional, in a sense to create extra downforce on the front, possibly causing effects to the aerodynamic attributes of the vehicle. Versus the stock height it would likely cause the opposite. Again, just curious, I drive rather spirited, I don’t want any negative effects of added to the front of mine, if they are somewhat functional. It would help me decide with which to go, Airdam route or splitter, as I won’t be lowering mine.
