Hi all, would like to ask whether the Base model if the IS200t comes with this front and back performance damper?

Also wondering whether this could be fitted onto the base model IS? Or must it be factory-fitted with the F-sport's Sport+ setting?

Hi,

Currently the is200t F sport base model comes with performance damper at the front only.

At first i was not aware that it comes with it. So i bought the TRD performance damper which comes in set ( front and back.)
Upon jacking up the car, i saw there is a performance damper fix at the front.Then i compare with the TRD
performance damper and they look the same in terms of the outlook , dia. and size. The only things is without TRD sticker .

Therefore , i didn't remove it . Just leave it at it is. Only install the rear performance damper.

Thanks, mate, that is good to know. In your opinion, is there any improvement in terms of road noise or handling after the installation of the rear performance damper?

Well, there is some improvement during high speed coz it helps make the whole car stable further when going over some uneven road surface and less bound and rebound .Road noise still the same. Thats my personal opinion . Hopefully other people in this forum can give their personal thoughts.
