Default Monthly payments for 350 fsport? What's good and bad

I've been trying to look more into trading my car in for a 350 but my dealer gave me numbers for $600 a month on a 42 month lease with $2,000 down. And this was for a 2016 model without trade in. Does anyone pay that much? Seems high to me as I'm trying to stay below $500 a month. Please let me know what you're paying and where you're located at, any info! Thanks guys!

I'd be asking about your trade in offer and rate. Don't focus on your monthly payment so much. Dealers love to give you a nice looking monthly payment while raising interest rates or down payments.

well those were the numbers without the trade in and if I did it now, I'd be really upside down so I'm just trying to get numbers in general.

Depends on where you are and what the down payment and money factor are. Residual is set by the lender, so that should be pretty easy to check. A price really comes down to MSRP, cap cost (selling price plus fees minus incentives and [possibly] down payment), and money factor. It varies based on where you live simply due to tax. Some states have tax that is calculated on the entire selling price of the car, others may be on the amount of the monthly payments themselves. $600 in CA seems high given what I know others have been paying

My friend pays $425 a month, $2K out of pocket. 12K miles a year. 36 month lease. I pay $395 a month, with the access wear and tear package on a 300, fully loaded. 36 month lease and 12K miles a year. $2K out of pocket. Both F Sports in NJ. Right now, Lexus has 350 Fsports on "special". $399 a month but with $4K out of pocket. Thats on a '17 a believe. If he tried getting you to pay $600 a month on a 16, go to a different dealer.

$600/ month for a '16 seems a bit high. Is this CPO by Lexus or a smaller dealer? If it was covered for another 3 years warranty and maintenance it *may* be okay. Did you go over pricing options with $5k down?
