Default Snow button

Is there any way to deactivate the snow button?

Hmmm. If you don't want to engage it the Snow mode, simply don't press the button?

it's never intentional. I'm sure i'm not the only one that accidentally tap it with my elbow

I recently used the SNOW button intentionally for driving in the snow. Press the button once to activate, press the button again to deactivate, or just turn the car off.

unplug it if accidental pressing is an issue. else find another sport for your elbow

I will say it is in a rather odd place on the IS. on the RC, which is a similar interior it is located out of reach when resting your arm on the console

Well, there isn't any harm is using snow mode.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, isn't snow mode very much like ECO mode.

Decreases throttle response, so you don't go to fast and slip in snow.

ECO is all about throttle/gears, SNOW mode is much more into traction control, actual slipping detection. There could be some overlap, but only some. I would not use ECO mode as a substitute for the SNOW.
