Exhaust installation prices
Hey all, just wanted to see how much yall pay to have your exhaust installed at your local shop. I originally paid 250$ to have an auto shop install my ark performance exhaust. I plan to go to a diff auto shop install my stock exhaust back onto the vehicle since i believe 250$ was a little high at the prev shop. Just trying to get a ball park range as to what i should pay. $50 to install an axle-back here in SoCal by a reputable import tuner garage/shop. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a full cat-back install. Especially if its a bolt-on application.

Its about an hour to an hour and a half of work fro a catback so i'd calculate it based on their shop rate. A lot of general repair and shops average around $75 a hour so usually thats what we compare it to. Performance shops can have higher rates but you also know its a cake walk for them to install. Hope that helps!
