Default Electronic muffler bypass

Has anyone done it, instead of deleting the muffler? If so, where should the Y and cutout be placed, on the axle back or the mid pipe? And what diameter is the factory piping? Thanks!

i dont think anyone on here has done so, but i've seen this done, it's pretty neat. I'd opt to go after the cats to avoid o2 sensor reading related issues
