Just to make it clear I'm not talking about removing the actual **** from the boot. I know how to do that I'm talking about the silver trim piece of the actual **** connecting to the leather potion.

Yea that's what I'm gonna do. But what neat the bottom? How big of a piece will I need to cover the whole ****?

Well my vinyl came in. I wrapped my gear shift, first time working with wrap. I am pleased to say it came out amazing I got the result I wanted which was to mimic the gs gear shift center trim. IMHO looks great feel free to share your thoughts. I did my key too I had a lot left over. The key looks great too now I have a 1 of 1 Lexus key.

The color shade looks almost like the refreshed 17 IS shift kn0b.

The 17 IS has more of a darker shade aluminum brushed kn0b for those wondering.
