Default Engine hesitation from a stop

Hello, I have a '15 IS350 and have experienced a strange issue 2 or 3 times over the past 12 months.
The symptom is usually from a stop, I push the accelerator and there is nothing for a second, I see something flash on the dashboard but is
so quick I am not able to read it, then the engine kicks in and away I go. No check engine light or codes are posted. Anyone experienced the issue?
I am under warranty, my local dealer is not the best and will most likely state they couldn't find anything. Looking for any feedback.
Thanks, Daniel

Could it be the vsa kicking in? How are your tires, that's the only thing I can think of

Wouldn't be VSA, sounds like something to do with the throttle sensor. What driving mode are you in?

It's probably some minor bug with your ECU. You might try an ECU restart by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 20mins.
