Lexus App Suite
#17
Has anyone else had problems linking iHearsts in the Lexus App Suite? I cannot link iHeart Radio in the Lexus App Suite. I get the sign-in screen but after putting in my Log in name and password and hit submit it goes no where (Using IE11). I tried to link it using Chrome but get the following message in Chrome.
.
I had no problem linking Pandora or Slacker so it appears the problem is with the Lexus App Suite. The link in the Lexus App Suite apparently is going to an invalid iHeart web address and there is no way to change it.

Try deleting the Lexus App Suite...and all it's contents...and reload from the cloud.
You will have to re-register it once again from the banner at the bottom of the fresh screen,
Then re-register each of the app to the app suite, see if that doesn't solve the issue.
As before, be sure to keep LAS running in the background and keep the other apps OFF.

Thanks. I was able to accomplishing the linking via the Lexus Enform App Suite in the car and logging into my IHeart account on my smart phone. I contacted the Lexus technology specialist at my dealership and he tried to link the IHeart account using my Lexus App Suite log in credentials and my iHeart credentials on the Lexus App Suite web site and encountered the same problem. He determined the Lexus App Suite web site has a programming error and suggested I try linking the iHeart account by using my smart phone and Lexus App Suite in the car which did the trick.

I had the same question. According to the technology person at my Lexus dealership, the answer is no. Apparently one is limited on want Toyota/Lexus wants to give you. According to him Toyota/Lexus may add additional apps in the future but that is anyone's guess. Whether they would add Spotify is another guess. One of the reasons my next car will be one that has Android Auto. Toyota is insistent that they will not implement either Android Auto or Apple Car Play on their cars and will go with their own proprietary software. The Lexus technology person said I could download the Spotify app to my smartphone and stream music from Spotify through the car stereo system via Bluetooth.

I don't follow you vital....once the items are synced to the car, they are not visible in my phone app. When I go to the car and open the saved destination folder, the items are there but I only found how to delete them all, not a single item. I can't swipe with the remote touch....

That's the problem, once you sync your saved destinations in the app to the car they disappear from the app. Seems to me showing them in the app would make sense but that's not the way it works now. So when working with the app, you can't see the items already in the car and I have duplicated some entries. And still have not found a way to delete a single item, either from the car or from the app. I wasn't too upset at first when Lexus announced they were killing eDestinations function but they need to upgrade the LAS to provide the same conveniences.

FWIW, on the saved destinations, I've never used the app to do it, always in Chrome on my desktop, with no real issues other than downloading them to the car being kind of error-prone.
