I know in Canada they introduced that legislation starting for the 2018 model year. Can't speak for the rest of the world though.

You are looking for this.

There is really no need for pictures. Bolt the camera in place and connect it to the harness you already have. Done.

I don't need $100.
$99 is fine.

BACK UP CAMERA IN US AND CANADA becomes STANDARD only 2016+ will soon be Parking Assist and Blind Spot check mirror too i think 2018+ ? Government said they going to do that as well. I don't know why Lexus in Philip. don't have, some 2014-2015 Canadian IS250/350 fsport don't have backup Cam, you can live without Levinson blind spot but you cannot live without "Navigation Leather Seat Sunroof and backup Cam" my IS350 got every option everything + mark levinson.

I've actually lost hope on gettting an OEM camera since even lexuparts.com when asked they do have the camera but no wire sticking out of it and they dont know what wire im talking about.

The one on ebay you gave me me has that wire and the part number the seller gave is compatible with the VIN i provided lexusparts well at least according to them.

I ordered it now *fingers crossed*

the thread you gave me somewhat confirms that socket in my trunk is for the camera, from that guy's last post with the blue trunk.

Thanks for the help! this is the best answer I've gotten. When it all works out and the camera actually works with that socket. Ill post it here. And I'll send you the 100 I promised, do you have paypal? ill send the money to your email just pm it to me.

They dont have cause theyre trying to keep prices competitive and remove as much feature as possible. Most cars here have even the really small ones already come with cameras, but somehow not lexus. well since its not required by law

I see that, but its nice to have Backup Cam especially Asian country like Philip and Vietnam, i lived in Patawan in the 80s , the Vietnamese Refugee Camps after Vietnam War. By the way what you should do is contact Lexus Japan international department Customer service they be able to assist you with that, i don't think it's hard, i don't know why your Lexus Dealership in Metro Manila could not do it for you

Good luck with the install. Let us know how it turns out.

Glad it worked out for you!
Good thing to confirm it is definitely 100% plug and play for other members wanting to do this.
