Torn between gun metal or black with silver lining?

Thoughts?

Me personally, I'd go flashy and get a gold or red color to stand out. Gloss black wheels are a pain in the butt to clean and keep clean. (I detail cars for work) smudges and gets dirty quickly

Black is basically the worst color for a wheel on any car. I'm not sure why it's so popular? They look good with just the right lighting, but for the most part the wheels become invisible in pictures and all you see is a giant black void where the wheel should be.

For my Atomic Silver I'll be doing some type of polished looking wheel. Since Atomic Silver is not actually silver in any way, the polished wheel won't clash.

Finally someone agrees with me lol black wheels in most pictures don't look like anything. Can't see the design, unless like you said, you have proper lighting

Agreed. I like a wheel color that compliments the wheel design and, for the most part, black kind of hides the design. I have red wheels myself. They are similar in color to the taillights and the interior is red. To each their own. Given the options the OP is looking at, I would suggest a chrome or polished lip if choosing black wheels.

I happen to agree too.
This was actually one more gripe I had with IS F-Sport when I was shopping, its wheels were too black for me.

Thanks. I gotta ask, how did you fit a 20X10 et25 on the rear? With that offset the wheel should be sticking out several inches beyond the fender. I could understand a 40 or 45 in the rear, but 25 I can't wrap my head around.

Agree with the posts above.

Unless it's like diamond black or high gloss black (black chrome, polished) i wouldn't settle on black wheels. Water marks will stain if it's not cleaned often and it picks up all kinds of dust.

Anything like satin or matte black looks almost plastidipped.

A polished color, or powdercoated gunmetal for subtle look? Or just go all out like me and get candy red lol. Enjoy your primes, look back one day and be like "yeah, I had red wheels once"
